LG Leader Guide | Week of 11.16.25

Hello, LG Leaders!

What a great weekend for our church family.

  • The women’s retreat (I heard) was a sweet and powerful time. Way to go to all the ladies who helped put this together!!

  • The Shaubs’ coming to preach on Sunday morning was so special as well. Love them, and the message they gave was so rich. I was taking notes the whole time. Unfortunately, we did not record the sermon on Sunday because we did not want any of the team or the people they are ministering to in Southeast Asia to be compromised. Ugh, I hate that not everyone gets to listen! We did put up some of their sermon slides on the “Discussion Guide” tab if you want to check those out. Can also share my notes if that helps ;)

  • In the baptism class, we had 5 kids and 1 adult attend. Rejoicing over all these people who are praying through this decision! If people in your LG have not been baptized and express interest in making that decision, please let Maci or me know, and we can still follow up for the December 14th Baptism Sunday!

Discussion guide and Kids Guides are up – however, I know a lot of you will be doing Thanksgiving potluck this week. Praying for Acts 2:46-47 to come to life as you gather with grateful hearts and open up your gathering to new people.

“They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” - Acts 2:46-47
